Christmas Markets on the Green, St Stephen’s Green
24 November – 22 December, every Sunday
Near TGI Fridays on Stephen’s Green, this Christmas market guarantees a Christmas wonderland experience with over 50 Stalls selling everything from vintage to sustainable clothes, vinyl’s, art and jewellery. There will be plenty of wood chalets offering an array of gifts, mulled wine to heat you up, and festive snacks.
Christmas at the Castle
12 – 22 December
Dublin Castle Christmas market is the newest Christmas market in Dublin city centre, and it is the most anticipated. The castle grounds will transform into a magical experience promising 30 traditional alpine markets. Be spoiled for choice as vendors offer decorative crafts and handcrafted unique gifts and festive food. Entertainment for all the family is on hand with choirs carolling in the evening as well as weekend horse carriage rides through the grounds. Children will be kept busy with a carousal ride, ‘A Christmas Adventure’ and Santa experience. All can enjoy complimentary evening access from 6-8pm to the traditionally decorated State apartments.
Alternative Christmas Market – The Grand Social
15 December
This market is perfect for anyone who loves something quirky as its full of gems for alternative / metal / goth / retro / esoteric / medieval crafts, music, gifts, clothes, foods and art. This is a licensed premise so may not be suitable for young children.
The Designer Dublin Christmas Market, College Green
20-21 December
Probably the latest Christmas Market of them all as it is on for one weekend only – but it will pack a mighty punch to knock a lot of gifts off your Christmas shopping list! Located at Bank of Ireland’s forecourt, over 30 talented local Irish artists, photographers, jewelers and fashion designers will showcase their work here over the two days. At lunch time shoppers will enjoy a brass band that will bring the Christmas spirit alive with festive food and drinks on offer – oh, and Santa will make an appearance on Saturday!
